How You Can Help
The Foundation is dedicated to improving the understanding, treatment and prevention of diseases, transferring knowledge, and providing appropriate technology to aid animal care.
The outstanding progress the Moredun Foundation has made in animal health over the last 80 years has not come cheaply. More than 200 staff are employed by Moredun, at a cost of over £10 million per year. Research, development and testing of a new treatment or vaccine can take 10-15 years to bring to the market and a development cost of £10 million pounds is not common. However, as government funding now only contributes to just over 50% of Moredun's income we find ourselves even more dependant on financial help from our supporters so that vital areas of our work can continue to be funded.

Legacies
One of our increasing sources of income comes from legacies.
Although it is a subject people may find hard to discuss, it is also so easy to do. When making out your will please ask your solicitor to include a bequest to the Moredun Foundation. That way you will know that you are making a lasting and positive contribution to our work.
